Would you bid on this? or is it too risky that it's fake...?

I really liked this poster, and Carlito's Way is one of my fave movies.

I emailed the seller and asked how it was obtained to try and get some info, and what was said was this:
"COA is from "Books to Bragg About" dated 1994 I bought it from a collector from $400 several years ago and moved since with nowhere to hang it now".

The reply proved nothing really, and it seems a lot of money to pay for something that I'm unsure about.

I'm not sure if anybody could tell if it's fake from just looking at it, but maybe people are familiar with Books to Bragg About or the seller, etc?

Thanks so much!!
Lloyd

Right, there's nothing visible in the photo with enough detail to make any judgement on, and it comes with a COA from an company which doesn't appear to be trading any more.

The question is not so much whether one should touch it with a bargepole, but rather just how far one should go to stay away from it, or any of the other items he's trying to offload.

Instant Red flag I see is that different and odd colors its signed in. You RARELY see authentically signed posters signed in those types of colors and it's common among forgers to use those colors as it grabs people's attention. I'd stay far away from that! {down}

He supposedly paid $400 for this item but cannot find a place to hang it in his new place?
Give me a break!
Never knew it was that hard to make up space for something that "valued"
Definate red flag mate.
