Hey Fanmail ,

For the longest time I have been a fan of Brittany since I saw her in Sister Sister . I was always thinking of writing to her, but never got to it. I even had a paper where I write down who I should write to and she was on it about 2 weeks before she died . That is still strange to me. So these past two months I bought 2 Brittany autographs. They were a fair price about 60 dollars each and both from two different sellers. I bought the first photo from ebay, and the other through a private paypal payment. On ebay they have TONS of Brittany autos, and some are real (but are like 300 dollars) and others are fake, and thats what I would like to know with mine.

They look close, but then again, she is somewhat difficult to figure out lately as some people on ebay have become very good at faking these.

The first one looks authentic, from the signature to her writing of 'God bless'. I have some serious doubts about the second one, the start of the signature, most notably the way the B is formed, looks different from other known authentic examples.

That's the same thing I was thinking but then again it could have been rushed when she started getting sick. The person I bought it from said she was in Autograph Magazine, and they wrote a paragraph on her (the seller not brittany). The first one I think is real but I saw on ebay there was a preprint of her and it is the exact same signed photo I have. How is that possible? I know mine is not a pre print because its signed in blue sharpie and shines the usual red soo Idk.

Unfortunately there are people on ebay that steal other peoples photo's and sell them as preprints, I've had that happen a few times before, I even reported it to Ebay but of course nothing was done about it. It doesn't mean your autograph is not authentic though, it just means someone stole the image when it was originally listed.

Oh few I was getting worried about the pre print! And now that I look closly at my autograph I see when she made the smiley face there is a small missing line on the circle. On the preprint the circle is a whole. This to me seems that someone performed the "alcohol test" and it passed!! LOL. The question is what should I do about the second photo?

I had the pleasure of meeting Ms.Murphy at the after-party for Talladega Nights. She was very nice and her death is such a tragedy.

Aw You are a very lucky person to meet such an amazing actress. For some reason it always seems like the nice and good hearted one have to go.

Hi there. I bought these immediately upon hearing of her death on Ebay. Gave me more peace of mind. The 2-8x10s, the seller gave me a lifetime money back guarantee if found to be fake. The one PSA/DNA index card looks like the in person example just posted. Brittany was a very good in person signer from what I heard so I'm hoping all 3 are legit.
