Author of the book and script "JAWS", Peter Benchley.... :cry: Several other movies were made based on Peter's characters in the book. Peter also made several appearances in movies based on novels he wrote, including a TV reporter on "JAWS." He died 2/11/06 at the age of only 66....

Or has anyone gotton a recent Steven Spielberg success? I sent a letter and JAWS dvd cover out plus a SASE in early March and still haven't gotten anything back yet.....
