Manu80 - Needs a mod team
Hi guys {up} Manu80 has asked to come back as a moderator, and since he only left because he had lost faith in the boards (and not because of any trouble or disgrace!!) I told him I would keep his position open for a couple of months if he changed his mind and wanted to come back. Currently I have r...

Re: Lizanne- Moderator? (Josephine's Team)
Shambler (who has just been demoted from Trainee back to standard member) and Lizanne certainly seem to know one another ;-) Their IP addresses are VERY similar (so much that they they are probably in the same building - on the same router - i.e. school, library etc). I have grave reservations in pr...

Re: autos.jasonw - membername changed
Hi guys {up} I understand your worries, but I don't think the name-change is significant enough to fool many people  The reason given was that the period (.) in the middle of the original name was causing problems since the (.) key was faulty on his PC. To be honest, the only bit removed was th...

Re: I'm pretty sure these 2 TMs are the same person
Hi Andy {up} Well spotted. Both are posting from the same range of IP: 195.189.142.216 and 195.189.142.199. Unfortunately since the addresses are subtly different this is not conclusive, as for example a school sever might allocate similar addresses ;-) I am guessing they at least know each other, b...

Re: Why can Trainees give out warnings?
It is my understanding that Trainees cannot directly issue warnings. Certainly I have made that the case for any members I have personally promoted. Perhaps Admin can clear this up once and for all? I think this warning is NOT warranted. The member is obviously young, and needs some help and support...

Re: FOR ALL AMERICANS
Hi guys {up} This is a pretty good Australian slang dictionary site :D http://www.koalanet.com.au/australian-slang.html <<arrow$ Sorry, I am not Australian, but I couldn't resist having a look at the thread. However, after Neighbours, Home & Away, Blue Heelers, The Sullivans, Prisoner (Cell Bloc...

Re: Regarding British Stamps/Postage
Hi ne0ven0m {up} First Class stamps in the UK are worth 34 pence in postage. So to mail back to the USA from the UK with them you will need to use multiple stamps to make up the value as follows: To mail FROM the UK TO the USA & Canada: 0.54p 10g in weight 0.78p 20g in weight £1.17 40g in weigh...
