Re: Robert Downey Jr. - success!
I still don't get it that people consider autopens as a success. Jeez, that actor/actress NEVER even put his/hers hand on that photo a machine did.

Re: John Travolta Success!
If you're so happy with a secretarial. Then why can't I make a business of it by printing up some photos and signing them myself forging that actor/actresses name? IT'S THE EXACT SAME THING!

Re: Robert Downey Jr. - success!
People, I'm trying to understand why you are so happy with what you get in the mail. A secretarial is just a forged signature and is not even the actors/actresses. An autopen is just a facsimile of that actors graph and he/she never even touched your item/photo. A pre-print is just a copy of that ac...

Re: Robert Downey Jr. - success!
In extremely rare cases they do sometimes read the letters. But most likely they hire out a service that takes care of the fanmail. AND IF there is a letter received that is a "special" one, like for instance from someone who is sick or is just not from a typical fan asking for a graph, th...

Re: Robert Downey Jr. - success!
Agreed. I certainly would want to know if it's real or not. The ONLY way you'll get a Downey is if you get him face to face at a premiere or some other event. NEVER through the mail. MAYBE if you had the guy's personal address? People are so naïve.

Re: Robert Downey Jr. - success!
Instead of wasting your time on the reply or on the postage, it is ALWAYS best to either get the autograph in person such as a movie premiere or through reliable dealers that are authenticated by JSA, PSA or Beckett. I certainly would want the real thing wouldn't you?

Re: Robert Downey Jr. - success!
northwellguy, I really like you're honesty when it comes to laying down the truth with this hobby. I just can't believe why people think it's a success when they receive basically junk, like with the secretarial, pre-print, our autopen. To me unless it's a real authentic signature it's nothing. Keep...

Re: Bill Cosby
Worthless? If you're a true fan then the monetary value of a graph shouldn't matter.
