Re: How many stamps on SASE?

Based on returns I've gotten where people have sent me a photo, as well as SASEs that have made their way back to me, for US SASEs I usually stick on two airmail stamps (currently $1.10 each) and one forever first-class stamp (currently 46 cents.) I did have one SASE where someone took it to the pos...

Re: Sending a bat ttm and sending a football ttm

I haven't sent either, just a book, but the experience should be the same: ALWAYS sent something for its return trip, if you want it back. Best bet is (if you're in the US), use an appropriate-sized flat rate priority mailer as the return box, so you can print out postage and also have it addressed ...

Re: please help!!!! address queston

Depends. If it's a company or business or agency, most likely yes. If it's an individual, depends on how well the carrier knows the person. At best it will get there, but with a bit of delay.

Re: Fan mail Emma Watson and Rupert Grint

Generally, that's how I do TTM requests. A large envelope addressed to the person, and inside that is the SASE, photo and letter, in that order. I usually place the stuff so that when you open the flap of the large envelope, you see the letter first, then the photos, and then the SASE - and having t...

Re: What kind of paper do most people write their letters on

Pen to paper, printed on computer doesn't matter. As long as one signs their letter, and it's legible.

Re: William Katt The Greatest American Hero wants money!

"one can not try and sale it on Ebay As who would want to by a Autograph photo that is made out to some one else .." Wrong. Depending on who it is made out to, stuff like that sells on eBay. And there are those who are of the mind that if it in inscribed it is less likely to be an autopen ...

In the US, an office supply store such as Staples carries sheet protectors specifically made for 3x5 cards.

Re: Autograph Authenticity.

For sure, the only way to know if an autograph is real is if it is signed in front of you. Autopens are easy to identify, so are preprints (by comparing them to other signed photos.) You can get up to a high probability that some signatures are authentic - a TTM John Glenn is an example - but never ...

Re: How to send my photo so it doesn't get damaged

I put the photo in a sheet protector, cutting off the strip with the three holes. Put that on top of a 9x12 or so envelope that has a piece of cardboard in it (not too snug, you want the photo to slide in it with the protector.) The 9x12 envelope is addressed and stamped to you. Put that and a LOR i...
