I wait about 6 months between letters mostly. Some people who never respond via agency/manager sometimes respond via set. However some don’t respond at all so it depends who you are trying.

I’ve generally found that 3 months is a minimum for a reply. I had a reply after 6-7 years and then one after a week so it really varies.

An 8x10 in a 9x12 envelope is usually about 2.50 in stamps to Canada.

It’s best if you find a way to purchase UK stamps: via your friend, eBay or the Royal Mail website.

The international usps stamps work for the letter TO the UK not from the UK to the USA.

I hated checking my rate because it’s hard to send so many out and getting no reply back. I’m getting better as I try via venue addresses mostly and I’m getting better replies from them. I think I’m under 40% but those I do get I treasure.
