Re: Sending presents

Hi Heyheyyou! That's a tricky question, because it's never 100% that someone will get a gift sent through the mail. Selena might look at it, but she probably gets a lot of gifts from fans. Your sister might have a better chance that Selena will at least look at the gift via venue, but a solid defini...

Re: Going to a set?

I actually would not suggest being hired on as an extra and ask for autographs. I was a featured extra in a movie and it's a very professional atmosphere. No one asks for autographs and it's considered unprofessional to do so. Being an extra is a job and if someone is bugging the actors for autograp...

Re: Post Office & they wanted more postage dilemma!

Hi @sigsandstuff, I've never had a problem with writing "Do Not Bend" on my envelope. I usually send out 10X13's with cardboard and "Do Not Bend" written on it and it usually doesn't cost me more than $1.20. I sometimes find that it depends on which post office employee you go to...

Re: IRC proceure

Hi abbey123, IRC's usually cost a little over $2 (sorry, I don't know the exact amount), so he should have charged you for one. They do ink stamp them. Here's an example of an IRC: http://www.dailydx.com/images/irc2007.jpg I hope that helps some. Let me know if you have any further questions. ~Annie...

Re: Enough is enough! We need a set of FORUM RULES!

Hi Kyle! I think that's a great idea but I'm not sure it'll help. The thing is that most of the users don't read sticky topics (I was one of them). But we can try. We can't lose anything. -Urša I agree with Ursa. I am constantly locking topics/telling people to read stickies in the Collecting Help...

Re: If I write to a NBA team ...

Hi KaDaWe! I'm going to try and answer your questions :) 1. If I write to a player/coach without a picture/index card/etc, what send they to me? They may not send you anything. Some celebrities will not send you an autograph unless you send them something to autograph. Some may send you an autograph...

Re: Collecting dilemma...what would you do?

I'd go to Valentine's Day because there are more celebs so you have a much better chance of coming away with some autographs. The Ringo Starr thing may be harder to get an autograph and since he's hard to get TTM, is he a good IP signer? Hope that helps!

Re: previews vs opening night?

Hi cdcplaya469! Here's my two cents. :) I used to work at a live theatre venue and previews are usually very busy times because the director/actors are still tweaking the show and sometimes they rehearsed right after the show. Also, opening night is also incredibly busy. It might be a better idea to...

Also, please see this thread: http://fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?f=117&t=144278

And remember to check the sticky's at the top of the boards before asking a question. They may just have the answer you're looking for :)
