Actually they're mainly filming on location, so I'm not really sure they will pass on letters this time.

Unfotunately it isn't, it was a Broadway show playing some time last year.

His usual replies are secs, but a couple of the most recent ones, like this one, kind of seem authentic to me.

Congrats!! I heard he's a great musician, I hadn't know him until a few days ago when he came to the museum shop I work for and some tourist had her photo taken with him (that's why I knew he was someone famous ). He seemed very lovely.
