Disney World Haunted Mansion Singing Busts help?

by ryeinc » Sun May 29, 2011 8:50 pm

"When the crypt doors creep and the tombstones quake" "Spooks come out for a swinging wake" .....I'm not gonna' sing the whole song for you all  But I do have a question. I've always been in loved with the famed attraction at Disney World and Disney Land......the Haunted Mansion, and there's one part of the ride in particular that I love, the graveyard scene, during that part there are five singing busts singing the theme song for the ride (Grim Grinning Ghosts). The five people that provide the faces and voice for the singing busts are Thurl Ravenscroft, Jay Meyer, Chuck Schroeder, Verne Rowe, and Bob Ebright. (Here's a fun fact for ya', Mr. Ravenscroft was the original voice of Tony the Tiger, and he also sang the song "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch")

Sadly I know that two of those five, are no longer with us. And that would be Thurl Ravenscroft, and Jay Meyer. Now the other three I cannot find any information on what so ever. That leads me to my question, are those three (Chuck, Verne, and Bob) still alive? I would love to get there addresses and write to them all and get them to sign a picture I have if so, any help is appreciated! Thank you.
