Band:
The Bläck Fööss are a German music group from the 4th largest German city of Cologne. They started out as a band in 1970 and used to perform on-stage without shoes on hence (The Naked Feet). They sing their songs mostly in Kölsch which is a local Ripuarian dialect (dialects spoken in the Rhineland and parts of Limburg in the Netherlands and in the German part of Belgium) based on the West Central German language group.
Their music can mostly be associated with genres such as Schlager and pop.
