He is a HIT or MISS. You will never really know what you will get in the mail.
(So he doesn't always sign authentically.)

I think it should be the other way round: Until I don't know it better, I consider an autograph as fake. And lists like this can help to find out. Unfortunately you wrote the only response to this thread until now...

However, I've added "Charlton Heston" to the list :-)

The list goes on and on for fakes received ttms, unfortunately. At least with autopen, stamp and pre prints we will always know for sure but there may be secretarials we will never know exist if the signer gets it nearly accurate. For decades Charlton Heston was seen as the very best signer of all time. It wasn't until a few years after his death that a definitive signature study was made. Even thoughtful letters bearing the name "Charlton Heston" that fans received were signed by a long time assistant.

Most probably won't contribute or even read this thread because they hold out that 1 % hope that their autograph is real. But I like your reasoning. Find out which are fake so you don't have to waste your time and money and most importantly your heartfelt belief that your favorite star actually cares about you.

Just check the authentication section. The secretarials thread hasn't gotten a response since early October.
