I attend conventions shows for other collectibles but I dont know of any diecast conventions/shows?
Is there a toy show at least going around the USA that carries diecast cars in some form?
I am in Atlanta.

A new company is starting to put conventions together in the Dallas, TX area; their first was last month. They're called the Dallas Comic & Pop Expo; here's their website.

I went to Wizard World Chicago and got James & Oliver Phelps, Michael Rosenbaum, Allison Mack and Aaron Ashmore from "Smallville" and Brandon Routh from "Superman Returns"

Last weekend was Ring*Con and it was just amazing! I met Jason Momoa, Craig Parker, Natalia Tena and Sean Astin. There were a lot more, but these were the ones wich I really met in person at the autograph or photo session.

[color=#8000FF]I just got John Barrowman's in person at the Toronto Fan Expo this August...If that counts? Had to pay though, $40 CAD. He was super nice in person, and just as pretty as he looks on tele. We waited almost nothing, we managed to find him during an impromptu signing before a photo shoot.[/color]
