It was an amazing day, to his credit Jean VDV still laughs about it when asked what he was thinking. I was chuffed to bits to be there. I met him again last August, and he was awesome as always. Glad you got a response from your local hero :D

Great success, he donated one of his gloves to me recently. Lovely guy both via mail and in person. I was at Carnoustie in '99 on that infamous day. Good times :D
