Yes I had her make it out to my friend for her birthday. Needless to say Julie loved it!! I think that was the best birthday gife she ever got!! I've been wanting to send to her for a while, but I'm not [i]that[/i] interested in getting the 1st book signed (as a paperback). So I came up with the idea of some bookplates or something similar like bookmarks...but the problem with that is they might think I want to sell them or something. Which I totally wouldn't, but they don't know that. Sigh.

Suppose I could scrounge up enough $ and send a copy of book 2, which is my favorite one. It would be a huge gamble, but if it came back signed to me...that would be so amazing! :D

I to have sent her a book to be signed. I mailed it out about a month ago. Still have not heard anything back yet, but hoping that I will! I wanted to give it to my best friend for her birthday! :lol: I am really hoping that the book comes back!

I guess I did! I think it helped that I basically sat down and wrote my letter the minute I finished reading The Hunger Games! Everything was so fresh in my mind and I was just so impressed by how how great they were, I was able to get all my thoughts down on paper. ^_^

Wonderful success! You're really lucky, I would like to get her signature, too. :) I've read all "The Hunger Games" books and I just love them. You had to write a very interesting letter that she did respond you. ;-)
