Well, I bought tickets to go see Armstrong and Miller Live in Manchester Palace Theatre - then I found out they were doing a gig in my home town, Grimsby!
So, I tweeted Ben Miller asking whether I can meet them after their Grimsby gig then again after the Manchester Gig the following evening. He tweeted back saying he'd love to see me in both places!
So, I'm the first one to meet them to get my programme signed, and as soon as they walk towards their fans waiting to get things signed, he reaches his hand out to me and says "Leonie - you made it!" Made me so so happy that I didn't need to prompt him or remind him of my name or anything! Had a lovely chat with both of them for ages!
The following night in Manchester I waited backstage for them again and when they came out I got the same response "Leonie, nice to see you again!" but this time got TWO kisses totally spontaneously! Was quite an experience really, didn't need to say or do anything!
Such lovely guys, really down to earth and genuine people.
